ok, so I know I am going to be called lazy and what not.... but I have lived here in the States for a out a year I am originally from Peru... and I have a hard time writing essays I pass Composition 1 barely with a C and I really really put an effort in to it... now i have to apply to a 4 yr school and transfer and they all ask for essays... the second one is pretty easy so I'm pretty sure i'll manage but the first one is the statement of purpose... this is what they ask to write about.....
The statement of purpose will provide an opportunity to explain any extenuating circumstances that you feel could add value to your application. You may also want to explain unique aspects of your academic background or valued experiences you may have had that relate to your academic discipline. The statement of purpose is not meant to be a listing of accomplishments in high school or a record of your participation in school-related activities. Rather, this is your opportunity to address the admissions committee directly and to let us know more about you as an individual, in a manner that your transcripts and other application information cannot convey.
IF ANYONE COULD HELP ME AND POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.... I'd be sooo grateful.... Thanks much guys....

Good morning.
The SOP is an opportunity for you to present yourself more as an individual, not just a student with grades on a piece of paper. Use this statement to explain to the board why it is that you think you would make a great addition to the campus; how you plan on helping the campus community, what clubs you want to partake in, things like that. The board does not want to see someone who plans on not making a contribution the the institution in any way. What are you looking forward to at this particular school? Is there some particular experience that makes you especially qualified to attend their school? What kind of a person are you?
