I will be attending UCSB this fall and i feel like my writing skills are not as strong as they should be. There is no structure to my writing maybe because English is my second language and the only time I speak English is at school. My vocabulary is kind of limited.. So if anyone knows of a course i can take or books i can read to improve my writing skills that would be great....

Fortunately, there is a lot of information available online about writing. You can start right here with some of our Free Essays and Articles that give tips on writing! There are many other sources devoted to writing as well, both online and in bookstores. And when you have an assignment due and would like it checked for errors, we'd be happy to help; just post it here to receive feedback!
