Paper Framework for "Academic Paper Critique"

My assignment is to write a 1-2 page "academic paper critique" on a journal article (technical paper on production capacity planning)and what the . No additional guidence is given. Is there a generalized format or framework/outline to critique an academic paper?

I am not aware of a rigid formula to follow when writing an academic paper critique, but I can tell you some things you might want to include.

You will essentially be highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of the journal article author's arguments and supporting facts. Go through the "evidence" presented by the author; when s/he draws a conclusion from a set of facts, state whether that conclusion is logical, or is an unfounded assumption. If you see any gaps in the research--questions that should have been answered, issues that the author avoids but which would affect the outcome of the argument's resolution, point them out. Does the author explain production capacity planning, its importance, the proper way to do it? If not, what was left out that would provide better information to the reader?
